Madison County has been approved by the State Fire Marshal to issue a No Burn order effective immediately until further notice. 
Madison County, MO is now under a burn ban which is approved by the State of Missouri Fire Marshal's Office until further notice. Severe drought conditions compounded by continued dry and windy weather conditions continue to make outdoor burning extremely hazardous. Any persons that choose to burn outdoors will be subject to a citation. The City of Fredericktown's burn season is ending as well so city residents will fall under this burn ban.
