On 12-4-2017, Giles County Sheriff’s Department Narcotic Investigators arrested 54-year-old Timothy Merl Green for 2 counts of the sale of Methamphetamine in a drug-free zone. At the time of arrest, Investigators found Green to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Timothy Green was placed on a 4-year sentence to probation on May 16, 2016, for a conviction of the sale of oxycodone. Green’s probation was violated as a result of these drug charges and another warrant was issued for his arrest. Green turned himself into the Giles County Jail and Correction Officers found Green to be also in possession of 16 Alprazolam pills on his person without a prescription. Green was additionally charged with Introduction of Contraband in a Penal Facility. He remains in the Giles County Jail without bond.
