Synopsis: A 33 year old male was crossing Oceanview Boulevard walking from south to north, just a few feet outside of an unmarked crosswalk. A vehicle driven by an unknown person was traveling west on Oceanview Boulevard. The vehicle stuck the male pedestrian with the right front side of the vehicle and immediately fled the scene. The vehicle was described as black sedan. There is no suspect information at this time. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with severe head trauma. The injuries are believed to be life threatening. Traffic Division responded and is handling the investigation.
