Monday December 19, 2017, the East Side Sewer Relief Project contractor will be installing a temporary bypass pump at the corner of Canterbury & Windsor today. All traffic will be maintained while the equipment is being installed. After the installation is completed, traffic will be restricted to one 12 foot lane.
All the 100 block addresses of Whitman Boulevard are accessible from Gulf Road, with the exception of 172 Whitman which is accessible from Canterbury Road via Windsor Drive. The addresses of 100 & 101 Canterbury Road are best accessed from the west (Gulf Road.) All of the houses in the 200 block of Whitman Boulevard are accessible from Abbe Road.
Gulf Road remains closed to through traffic and has a reduced speed limit of 25 MPH between Hilliard Road and Burns Road. Watch out for slow moving heavy construction vehicles that operate on Gulf Road between the Waste Water Plant and Whitman Boulevard.
