The Chula Vista Public Library branches are in the midst of holiday festivities and programs for all ages leading up to Christmas and the New Year. Highlights include a visit from Santa, gift wrap swaps, holiday movies, Christmas and winter storytimes and craft sessions. All programs are free of charge. Food for Fines, through Fri, Dec 22:
Wipe away overdue fines & help those in need! Bring nonperishable food items to any library branch; we’ll waive fines ($1/item, max. $10). Partnership with Altrusa International of Chula Vista; donations benefit South Bay Community Services. If you don’t owe fines, you’re encouraged to donate. Donations will clear fines only, not lost or damaged books or collection agency fees.
