Officers responded to a report of a package theft. An unknown female was captured on surveillance removing a delivery from the porch of a residence.

60-blk Fairview
Officers responded to a reported fraud. A citizen reported that that he was scammed over the phone. The unknown suspect(s) called the victim claiming to be from the IRS and demanded money. While officers were speaking with the victim, he received an additional fraudulent call “spoofed” from a number the responding officers recognized as coming from the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department.

Officers responded to an auto burglary. Unknown suspect(s) broke the window of the victim vehicle and removed personal items.

Officers responded to an auto burglary. Unknown suspect(s) broke the window of the victim vehicle and removed personal items.

17000-blk Buena Vista
Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of San Jose; 28 year old female, resident of San Jose; 29 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of stolen property, conspiracy, possession of controlled substance, parole violation, possession of burglary tools, driving on a suspended license
Officers responded simultaneously to two just-occurred package thefts, one on Buena Vista and the other on Oak Knoll. Upon their arrival, Officers located the suspect vehicle and an enforcement stop was initiated. Further investigation determined that the three occupants had worked together to drive around Los Gatos and Monte Sereno to steal mail and delivered packages. Property that had been stolen on Oak Knoll was recovered and returned to the owner. The driver was arrested for possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and driving on a suspended license. The passengers were arrested for possession of stolen property, conspiracy, theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, and a parole violation. All three subjects were transported to Main Jail.

15900-blk Romita
Officers responded to a residential burglary on Romita Ct. The homeowner returned home and discovered forced entry to the rear window of the residence. The suspects stole personal items from the residence.

Birchwood/Summerwood/Pine Wood
Officers responded to a reported auto burglary and located two unlocked vehicles that had been entered and rummaged through. Miscellaneous personal items were taken.
