On December 14th CSO Griess took a report regarding a vehicle that had been burglarized while it was parked at the Park n Ride on Red Top Rd. She was able to locate fingerprints which she believed belonged to one of the suspects. CSO Griess also watched surveillance video from the area and was able to locate the vehicle that the suspects had shown up in. The vehicle description was given to all officers and two days later that same vehicle was seen driving through Fairfield. Patrol officers contacted the people inside the truck at that time.
After reviewing the surveillance footage from the burglary and comparing it against the people who had been contacted in the truck Ofc. Ledford identified Rheanna Gomez as one of the two suspects. He passed that information on to detectives. This morning detectives from the Fairfield Police Department’s Investigations Unit served a search warrant in the 5000 block of Oakbrook Circle in connection with this burglary. Rheanna was not present at the time, but Lance Johnson, a 32 year old Fairfield resident, was arrested for various narcotics violations.
Rheanna Gomez is a 22-year-old, White female, with blond hair, green eyes, 5’5”, and 155 lbs. There is currently a warrant for Gomez’s arrest and a photo of her is attached to this news release.
