Suspects Who Fired AK47 At A Loyjoy Police Officer Captured By Sheriff Victor Hill’s Elite Fugitive Squad!

It is no secret that Sheriff Victor Hill has taken measures to ensure that Clayton County will never be a “gangsta’s paradise” for criminals as coined by famed rapper “Coolio” in his now classic rap.  To the contrary, the Sheriff’s para-military jail has now become a gangster’s nightmare.  As soon as “wannabe gangstas” raise their their unlawful heads making his list, the Sheriff dispatches his special forces to take them down one by one.

“Wannabe gangsters” Cecil Hoyer, Janorris Lucas, and Tisa Williams found all of this out the hard way when they tried to be gangbangers with law-enforcement earlier this month.

On December 7th, 2017, a Lovejoy police  officer attempted to pull over a vehicle at Tara Boulevard and McDonough Road.  The vehicle failed to stop when the officer activated his lights and sirens, but then came to a stop, temporarily, on the Home Depot Access Road.  As the officer approached the vehicle, it sped away very rapidly.  One of the occupants of the vehicle fired rounds at the officer with a AK47 as the vehicle drove away then disposed of the weapon a short distance down the road.  The weapon was then located in the roadway by the officer.

County Officers and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and soon after, the Sheriff himself arrived to meet with Lovejoy Police Chief Wayne Woods.  The two officials agreed that Lovejoy Police Detectives headed by Investigator Walters would lead the investigation to identify who the shooters were, and then the Sheriff’s elite Fugitive Squad would hunt and find them all.

The getaway vehicle was located a short time later by Clayton County Sheriff’s Office deputies.  The vehicle was subsequently impounded and a search warrant issued in order to gather evidence in relation to the crime.

Shortly thereafter on the day of the incident, Cecil Hoyer III was identified as an occupant in the getaway vehicle and was arrested that day.  Hoyer’s girlfriend Tisa Williams, attempted to assist Hoyer in evading capture.  She too was arrested with Hoyer strengthening their love for one another.

With two down and one remaining, Lovejoy Police Detectives worked hard to identify the third suspect with the goal to have him in jail by Christmas.  Janorris Lucas was identified as the third suspect from the shooting by Detectives and the manhunt for him took precedence on orders from the Sheriff.

On December 21, Sheriff Victor Hill’s special forces to include his elite Fugitive Squad along Cobra and Vice Units hunted Lucas to a location in Jonesboro. Lucas attempted to flee from the house, but was ran down quickly and captured.

Several high powered weapons were located inside the house with one being reported stolen out of Cobb County.

Hoyer, Lucas, and Williams now have plenty of time to reflect on the ending lyrics (shown below) of Coolio’s “gangsta’s paradise” as they face the wall for years to come at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.

“Tell me why are we so blind to see

That the ones we hurt are you and me?

[x2]

Ain't no gangstas living in paradise [x2]”
