* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Travel will be very difficult to impossible at times. A period of snow will impact the area this evening into Monday morning, bringing 4 to 8 inches of snow. Then, periods of heavy lake effect snow continue through Wednesday, bringing an additional 15 to 30 inches of snow.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 5 PM EST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. Highest winds are expected during the day Monday.
