Winter Storm Warning in effect from 7am thru 7pm Mon.. 5-8 in of total snow & strong winds may cause travel issues.

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ THIS
MORNING TO 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions.
Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected today. Lake effect
snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected tonight. Total
snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches are forecast.

* WHERE...In Indiana, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko
Counties. In Michigan, Cass County.

* WHEN...From 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ this morning to 7 PM EST /6 PM
CST/ Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts as
high as 30 mph on Christmas day will cause patchy blowing and
drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency.
