The Velda City Police Department would like to remind everyone that with inclement winter weather here, parking on the designated snow routes around the city with any winter accumulation is strictly prohibited per City Ordinance Schedule V. The snow routes are strictly enforced and must remain clear in order for them to be cleared effectively. Owners of vehicles left on snow routes can be ticketed and towed without warning.
