Full Notification

The Temecula Police received a report of a suspicious circumstance around noon, within the 32200 block of Corte Carmona. They responded to the report of a man acting erratically and screaming for assistance. Police responded and during their investigation learned a male subject had been displaying bizarre behavior. They attempted to make contact with the subject and male refused to exit the residence and started a fire within the home. The male eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody. He sustained minor injuries during the incident and is being transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. No additional individuals sustained injuries as a result of the incident. The fire was extinguished with the assistance of the local fire department.
