Wind Chill Advisory
WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
CST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will
cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
* WHERE...All of far southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, southeast Missouri and northwest Tennessee.
* WHEN...6 PM this evening to noon Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills will fall to from near 0 to 10
below tonight, and then from 5 below to 15 below Sunday night
and Monday night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
protect your extremities.
