HCSO will begin using Smart911 for community notifications and discontinue the use of Nixle Alerts. 
The Hocking County Sheriff’s Office will be utilizing a new emergency notification system, called Smart911, to keep the public informed of snow advisories and pertinent information happening within Hocking County.
