Freeze Warning until 09:00AM Thursday

...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM WEDNESDAY TO 9 AM EST THURSDAY... The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 AM Wednesday to 9 AM EST Thursday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.

* TEMPERATURE...Upper 20s to lower 30s are expected for late Tonight and again Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Possible damage to vegetation. People should take action to protect pets...pipes...the elderly, and vegetation.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BAKER ... COLUMBIA ... GILCHRIST ... HAMILTON ... INLAND NASSAU ... SUWANNEE ... UNION

Instructions:

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or expected for at least 2 hours. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.
