The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash that occurred on 12/31/2017, between 8pm and 10:30pm, on Ricky Ridge Ln, approx. 100ft north of Meadow Dr. A 2012 Hyundai Accent (bronze in color) was parked along the curb, on the northbound side of the street. It was struck in the rear end, causing significant damage to its rear bumper/ trunk. There were two holes punched in the Hyundai's rear bumper by the hit/ run vehicle, which was likely an SUV or a pick up. The holes were likely caused by tow hooks on the front bumper of the hit/ run vehicle.
