A WIND CHILL ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR BROWN COUNTY FROM 01/03/18 AT 8:00 PM TILL 01/04/18 AT 12:00 PM.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM WEDNESDAY TO NOON CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will
cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
Expect wind chills to range from 15 below to 20 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Missouri and south central,
southwest and west central Illinois.

* WHEN...From 8 PM Wednesday to noon CST Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chill values. This will result
in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not
taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and
gloves, making sure all exposed skin is covered.
