Avoid Frozen Pipes 
REMINDER: When it's this cold outside, your water pipes may be at a risk of freezing! Exposed plumbing pipes in any unheated areas, such as an attic, crawl space, or garage are at risk of freezing (pipes in the basement or heated areas of the home are rarely at risk). Allow a faucet to slowly drip during the coldest winter days to help ensure your pipes do not freeze. For more information, call the Public Works Department at 847-960-7500.
