Four people arrested following car chase

Kentucky Law Enforcement arrested four people following a car chase that began in Evansville around 7:20pm on Wednesday night.
The incident began when detectives observed an armed occupant of the car rob another person. The suspect got back into the car and the car drove away. The detectives followed the car and called for assistance from motor patrol units. When the suspect car stopped near Pollack and Burdette, at least one of the occupants exited the car and began to approach the detectives in their unmarked car.
As this was happening, patrol officers arrived and turned on their red and blue emergency lights. The occupant(s) got back in their car and sped away. During the chase, several items were thrown out of the suspect’s car.
The chase went into Kentucky and ended when the suspect’s car drove over a set of "Stop Sticks". Kentucky State Police took all four occupants into custody. There were two adults and two juveniles in the car. All four remain in custody in Kentucky.
The investigation is ongoing. Charging information will be made public when available.
