Child Pornography Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla man was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Zachary Loy Whitworth, 43, Attalla, was arrested on December 28, 2017 and charged with possession of child pornography, which is a felony,” investigator Stephen McGlathery said.
Whitworth was located and interviewed after Investigator McGlathery received a tip that the suspect had child pornography on his cellular phone. Whitworth admitted to looking at child pornography on his phone.
A search warrant was executed at the hotel where Whitworth had been staying in Attalla. His cellular phone was seized at that time.
Whitworth is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $25,000 cash bond.
