Wind Chill Advisory until 11:00AM Saturday

...COASTAL STORM EXITING THE AREA... ...BRUTALLY COLD ARCTIC AIR SET TO OVERSPREAD THE REGION... .Strong nor`easter will lift through the Canadian Maritimes today. In its wake another significant Arctic blast will spill into the region from the northwest. Temperatures will fall through the day...reaching well below zero by tonight. With very gusty northwest winds continuing behind the departing low pressure...dangerously cold wind chills will develop late this afternoon and early this evening. The dangerous wind chills may continue straight through Saturday and into parts of Saturday night. ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect wind chills to range from 15 below zero to 24 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of, central, northern and southern New Hampshire and and southwest Maine.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...If you must be outdoors, make sure to dress appropriately and cover exposed skin. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
