Lane Closures on Highway 116 in Sebastapol for Pavement Rehabilitation
Closures occur Monday, January 15 – Friday, January 26
SEBASTOPOL – As part of a roadway rehabilitation project, Caltrans has scheduled lane closures, in both Eastbound (EB) and Westbound (WB) directions for Monday, January 15 – Friday, January 26 on State Route 116 (SR 116) in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, from Mill Station Road to Cooper Road. The closures will be scheduled to minimize disruption to residences and businesses.
Weather, such as rain could postpone some of the work to the weekend or later. Work crews will return later, adding more striping and installing loop detectors in the pavement.
Working hours are as following:
Mill Station to Covert Lane (SR116 EB/WB) - 7 PM to 7 AM
Covert to McKinley (SR 116 EB/WB) - 10 PM to 7 AM
McKinley Street to Petaluma Ave (SR116 EB)- 7 PM to 7 AM
Petaluma Ave to McKinley Street (SR116 WB)- 7 PM to 7 AM
Petaluma Ave to Cooper Rd (SR116 EB) - 7 PM to 7 AM
Cooper Rd to Petaluma Ave (SR116 WB) - 10 PM - 7 AM
Some of the work may be noisy and affect parking. However, Caltrans met with local officials and arrived at a schedule the would minimize disruption to businesses and residents.
