Freezing Rain, Ice and Snow all on the table for Sunday – Monday.

Here is the timing for the weather.

Sunday 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – we have rain falling which could freeze on contact with any surface due to the constant cold temperatures we have had.

Sunday 10:00 pm – 1:00 am – The main part of the freezing rain/ice starts to fall as colder temperatures move into the upper air levels.

Monday – 4:00 am – the precipitation moves to snow, possibly an inch, and moves out between 11:00 – 1:00 pm.

Preparations for the following are advised:

Hazardous travel with the slick road surfaces – could impact, businesses and schools.
Power outages are possible with ice on power lines and trees limbs falling (depending upon how much ice forms – at this time it is forecasted at a very minimal amount)
