.Light freezing rain will develop across eastern Kansas and western Missouri this morning and expand northeastward into northern and central Missouri by the early afternoon. Freezing rain should transition to liquid rain by the late morning for areas across eastern Kansas to western Missouri, with a mid-afternoon transition expected further east. Light glazing on roadways is possible even after surface temperatures warm above freezing considering existing sub-freezing surface temperatures.
