...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 4 PM EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain or drizzle expected. The ice will result in very slippery conditions on sidewalks, roads and bridges.
Total ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of piedmont and foothills of western North Carolina.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 4 PM EST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel conditions, including during the morning and possibly afternoon commutes on Monday. The freezing rain will change over to all
rain during the late afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads.
Slow down and use caution while driving.
