The freezing rain which is forecast for central Indiana has arrived. Motorists should make plans now to allow extra time for their Monday morning commute to work and school. Highway crews will be out all night treating and plowing roadways, however the freezing rain will create hazardous driving conditions. Motorists are reminded to:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected...including freezing rain and snow. The ice and light snow will result in difficult travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday. Total wet snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, south central and southeast Indiana.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Monday.
