WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR PULASKI CO

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OF NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST MONDAY FOR PORTIONS OF PULASKI COUNTY, INCLUDING WINAMAC, FRANCESVILLE, AND MEDARYVILLE.

WHAT... The ice will result in difficult travel conditions. Total wet snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are expected.

WHERE... Portions of northern Indiana.

WHEN... Until 9 AM EST Monday. Most of the mixed precipitation is expected to fall between 10 PM EST late this evening and 6 AM EST Monday morning. Freezing drizzle may persist into Monday morning. Hazardous travel conditions are expected for the Monday morning commute.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times and slick road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
