On Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 09:00am until approximately 5:00pm the intersection of West River Road at Furnace Street will be closed due to a water main break.
Elyria Utilities Department will be repairing the water main that is located on the south side of the intersection. This will require closing the northbound lane of W River Road and Furnace Street at W River Road. Furnace Street is closed at Lake Avenue and W River Road northbound is closed at Lake Avenue. Traffic should detour using Lorain Boulevard to SR 57 to Furnace Street or W River Road.
Southbound W River Road Traffic will be permitted through the Furnace Street intersection, but expect delays.
