UPDATE #1: SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: E. 27th and N. Claymont Streets, Wilmington, DE 19802 
UPDATE #1 @ 8:35 PM, 10 JANUARY 2017
On Wednesday, 10 January 2017, at approimately 3:46 pm, Wilmington Police were summoned to E. 28th and N. Claymont Streets reference a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers located a 67-year-old male suffering from a single gun shot wound to his left calf. The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics, then he was transported to the Christiana Hospital, via ambulance where he was treated and released.
The victim indicated that he heard an unknown subject holler for him to 'Give it up", then he heard one gun shot from behind, which struck him in the left calf.

Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting that just occurred at approximately 3:46 pm.
The location of the shooting is located in E. 27th and N. Claymont Streets and this incident may be the result of a robbery.
Preliminary reports indicated that the victim may be a male subject, 50s in age.
This is an on-going investigation.
