WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Light freezing rain, including during the evening
commute. A light glaze is possible, mostly from wet pavement
quickly freezing.

* WHERE...Portions of central Illinois and west central Illinois,
generally west of I-55.

* WHEN...Light freezing rain is possible late afternoon and early
evening, before ending as some snow flurries.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This advisory is mainly due to an expected
flash freeze. Temperatures will fall 30 to 40 degrees in just a
few hours. Wet roads from rain earlier in the day will quickly
freeze late afternoon and early evening, causing icy roads and
sidewalks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that light icing will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads, and use
caution while driving.
