Coachella Valley Narcotic Taskforce arrested Jose De Jesus Herrera-Gutierrez on narcotics and weapons charges.
On January 12, 2018, deputies and officers assigned to the Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force (CVNTF), with assistance from the Coachella Police Department, served a narcotics related search warrant at a residence located in the 84400 block of N. Sienna Circle, in the city of Coachella.
The search warrant resulted in the confiscation approximately 100 grams of suspected heroin, one shotgun, one rifle, two assault rifles and an undisclosed amount of money were located inside of the residence. Narcotics located at this location exceeded an approximate street value of $8,000. One juvenile (age 4) was also located inside of the residence, and Child Protective Services and Drug Endangered Children unit were contacted to conduct their investigation.
27-year-old Jose De Jesus Herrera-Gutierrez, a Coachella resident, was arrested for Possession of Heroin for Sales, and Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed. Herrera- Gutierrez will be booked into the Riverside County jail, located in the city of Indio.
