On January 12, 2018, the Anderson Police Department Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit conducted a warrant sweep operation in the City of Anderson. The POP Unit was assisted by members of the Shasta County Probation Department and the Shasta County Marshall’s Office. The officers were also encouraged to conduct proactive enforcement in high crime areas throughout the city.

Many of the targeted offenders have previously failed to appear after providing their written promise to appear multiple times. This is often referred to as citing and releasing.

While the Anderson Police Department understands the reality that many of the lower level offenses won’t remain in jail, we hope to send the message that repeated failures to appear will not be tolerated in our city, and the offenders will go to jail and be held accountable for their crimes.

The operation resulted in nine warrant arrest, and seven fresh charge arrests.

The following people were arrested during the operation:
Daniel Keegan, age 32, of Anderson, was arrested on four active warrants.

Shannon Elsemore, age 32, of Anderson, was arrested on two active warrants.

Tippin Quigley, age 18, of Anderson, was arrested on one active warrant.

Karen Sullivan, age 33, of Anderson, was arrested on one active warrant and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Kaitlin Dunham, age 25, of Anderson, was arrested on one active warrant. Additional charges have been requested through the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment. Dunham’s child was also taken into protective custody by Shasta County Child and Family Services.

Christopher Reed, age 35, of Anderson, was arrested on one active warrant.

Jeffrey Delello, age 34, of Anderson, was arrested on one active warrant.

Clarence Asbhy, age 59, of Anderson, was arrested on three active warrants.

Mary Shipley, age 33, of Anderson, was arrested on two active warrants.

Jason Blair, age 45, of Anderson, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Brian Dyer, age 41, of Anderson, was arrested for a court order violation.

Tasha Dinwiddie, age 30, of Anderson, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shane Fasbender, age 40, of Anderson was arrest for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Angela Sully, age 35, of Redding, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monique Solorio, age 29, of Redding, was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
