Winter Weather Advisory

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TUESDAY TO 6 AM CST
WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for Southeast Texas, which is in effect
from 3 AM Tuesday to 6 AM CST Wednesday.

Areas of rain developing behind an arctic cold front will transition
to a wintry precipitation mix on Tuesday. This activity will build
southward across the area during the day and could persist into the
overnight hours Tuesday night leading to potential travel difficulties.
At this time, little to no accumulation is expected. If the accumulation
risk or driving hazards increase, this Advisory might need to be upgraded
to a Winter Storm Watch or a Winter Storm Warning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
