The City of Chelsea and the Chelsea Police Departments 7 digit landline phone system will be shutdown at 11pm tonight. This is so the phone system can receive a needed update. The system will only be down for approximately 5 minutes and should return to full working order. If during the exact time period of 11:00 pm till at the latest 11:10 pm police assistance is needed please call 911 or if it is a non-urgent matter you may call a temporary line of 734-216-0059.
