...Gusty Winds will cause Blowing and Drifting Snow in Spots Tonight...

Scattered flurries and snow showers will end this evening across central Indiana. Gusty westerly winds will persist however into the overnight...leading to blowing and drifting of snow in spots.
Allow extra time to reach your destination if traveling tonight and Tuesday morning.

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Outlook: Scattered flurries and snow showers will continue into the early evening with gusty winds. A Wind Chill Advisory goes into effect for all of central Indiana at midnight tonight.

Hazards: Slick and snow covered roads and reductions in visibility from blowing snow. Wind chills from 10 to 20 degrees below zero overnight.

Timing: Snow showers into the evening. Coldest wind chills overnight.

Discussion: Scattered snow showers will be possible into the evening as a cold front moves through the area. Dry and bitterly cold weather is expected tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Outlook: Wind chills will be below zero at times Tuesday through Thursday morning. The coldest weather will be Tuesday morning when the wind chills will be around 15 degrees below zero. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until noon Tuesday. Scattered flurries and a few snow showers will be possible Tuesday and Tuesday night with an upper level wave.

Discussion: Dry and bitterly cold weather will continue through midweek. Scattered flurries and a few snow showers are possible Tuesday and Tuesday night. Warmer temperatures are expected for the second half of the week with rain chances for the weekend.
