...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM
CST WEDNESDAY...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...
* WHAT...Brief periods of snow combined with low wind chill values
tonight. Travel conditions are hazardous.
* WHERE...Mainly north of a Brenham to Huntsville line.
* WHEN...Mainly this morning, decreasing this afternoon through
early this evening from north to south.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Impacts of icing to elevated surfaces such
as bridges and overpasses. Road conditions will be hazardous
through the night. Low wind chill values tonight may cause frost
bite or hypothermia if outside without taking precautions.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors...make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
