Full Notification

At approximately 10:27 pm., on Tuesday, January 16, Bluffton Police were notified of an armed robbery that occurred on the roadway near Main St. and S. Sutton Circle Dr. The lone victim advised that a white or gray late 80's or early 90's Honda Civic pulled in front of him and braked hard while southbound on Main St. The Civic was occupied by four males and one female. Once stopped, the female approached the victim and explained that they were having car trouble. The victim exited his vehicle and popped the hood of his vehicle. At that time the four males surrounded him and a physical confrontation ensued. One male suspect pulled a black handgun and demanded the victim's money. The suspects stole cash from the victim and threatened him. The victim made his way to a nearby convenience store and summoned help while the suspects left the area last seen westbound on Dustman Rd. from Main St. Police are asking for anyone with information pertinent to this investigation to call 260.824.3320.

All suspect(s) are presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty in a court of law.
