City status: roads, bridges open; city offices to open; recycling delayed 
As of 7 a.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018), all roads and bridges in Orange Beach were open and passable. Some icy patches may exist so take it slow if you have to be on the road.
City of Orange Beach employees are to report to work as road conditions improve this morning. City offices will be open today to serve the public. Some offices may have a delayed opening. As always, we appreciate your patience.
The Orange Beach Recreation Center remains open as a warming station, and fitness classes and programming at the rec center will continue as scheduled.
Due to the road conditions, there will be no recycling or commercial pickup today. Today’s normal routes will run tomorrow (Thursday).
