Important message from Sheriff Travis 
This is Sheriff Jeff Travis with the East Feliciana Sheriff's Office with an update on road conditions. There are barricades out across the parish in areas that were still causing traffic problems with ice, as of this afternoon. However, all roads in East Feliciana Parish are considered dangerous and you are urged to stay off of the roads tonight if at all possible. If you must travel due to an emergency you are urged to drive extremely slow as there are still pockets of ice on all of the roads. Due to road conditions, you must anticipate slower response times should you need assistance.
