Good Thursday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Wednesday, 1/17/18.

-FM 2130 at Kansas Rd, Anton: Loose Livestock. A deputy was notified of a loose horse in the area. The area was checked and no loose livestock was located.

-Onion Shed Rd at Kansas Rd, Anton: Loose Livestock. A deputy patrolling the area observed loose cattle out in the area. The cattle were secured.

-1310 Avenue H, LEC: Civil Issue. A deputy contacted a complainant regarding a possible theft. It was determined the issue was civil in nature and appropriate remedies were advised.

-Chickadee Rd at FM 41, Ropesville: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy was dispatched to attempt to locate a reported suspicious vehicle in the area. The area was checked and the vehicle described was not located.

-1800 blk 9th St, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. Deputies were dispatched to assist PD officers with a scene at a residence. Levelland handled the investigation and deputies assisted as needed.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, civil process service and investigative follow-up.
