Traffic Advisory for downtown Walnut Creek from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm: Civic Dr between Locust and Broadway, Broadway between Civic and Mt. Diablo Blvd, Mt. Diablo from Broadway to Locust, Locust from Mt. Diablo to Civic Dr. Expect delays and avoid the area if possible. Use alternate routes.
On Saturday, January 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Women’s March of Contra Costa will be hosting a Rally at Civic Park and a Peace March. Please expect long traffic delays in downtown Walnut Creek as a result. Officers will be monitoring the event. Please use alternate routes downtown during this time frame. Alternate routes could include N/B and S/B California Blvd and EB/WB Newell Avenue. Please note the Traffic Advisory information for streets to avoid.
