Today- The Cushing Police Department have received several phone calls, reporting phone scams.  The number has been the same in all reports, (714) 927-8493.  The caller identify his/herself as an Internal Revenue Service Agent and demands immediate action or law enformcent is on their way to arrest the person. 

Cushing Police Department would like to remind our citizens that this is a scam tactic to gain personal information, as well as, not to give personal or financial information.  Anyone recieving these phone calls are encouraged to contact both their local police department, as wll as, reporting it at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
