Lawrence Township News for the Upcoming Week

I-95 and I-295 Redesignation - New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has announced a redesignation program to replace signage on I-95.  Click here for a project overview or go to the NJDOT website for additional information.



2018 Lawrence Township Calendars
Reminder that the Lawrence Township Municipal calendar has been printed and is available online or can be picked up in any of the offices in the Municipal Building, the Public Works Building or the Senior Center. THIS YEAR'S CALENDAR WILL NOT BE MAILED.


Rabies Clinic - The Lawrence Township Health Department is holding a free rabies clinic on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. It will be held at the National Guard Armory on Eggert Crossing Road. January is Dog License Renewal Notice -  All dogs seven months and older must be licensed. Please click here for the dog licensing application. If you have any questions or need more information, please call the Clerk's Office at 609-844-7000.



Patriotic Committee - Lawrence Township is looking for volunteers to join the Patriotic Committee. See flyer for details.


Road Work

  • Bakers Basin Road - PSE&G continues it work on Bakers Basin Road in preparation of Mercer County's bridge repair project.  Please click here for further information.
  • The Route #1 construction project is moving along.   The circle is now open at Route #1 and Whitehead Road.  The construction project is still ongoing - please continue to use caution in this area.



Remember Leaf Collection is completed now.  As of January 1, Public Works has resumed regular brush pick-up.

Brush must not be placed at the curb for pick-up earlier than the weekend prior to your designated pick-up week.


The week of January 22 is Zone 4.  If you are unsure of your designated zone for your property, you may check the On-Line Property search on Township website at www.lawrencetwp.com

Material should be placed in an area on the street not greater than four feet (4’) from the edge of the pavement.  Trees greater than an 8-inch caliper may not be disposed of through curbside collection.  Materials shall not be piled greater than three (3’) in height.  Once the truck has collected your street, they will not return until the next month’s collection.

Christmas trees are still being collected during the regular Zone pick-up.
