This morning, detectives from Lomita Sheriff’s Station presented a Rancho Palos Verdes home invasion robbery case to the District Attorney’s Office at Torrance Court. Maurice Taylor, 30, of San Pedro, was arrested by Lomita Station deputies on Tuesday.
Taylor was charged for his alleged role in a home invasion robbery in the 28000 block of Santona Drive on December 9, 2017. During the robbery, the male adult victim was tied up and robbed in his home, and a Porsche Cayman was stolen from the location. A 16 year old female was arrested by deputies on December 20, 2017, for her role in the crime.
Charges of Robbery, Burglary, Mayhem, False Imprisonment, Grand Theft Auto, and Criminal Threats were filed by the District Attorney’s Office against Taylor. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail, and will be arraigned today at Torrance Court.
