Due to the recent winter storm and freezing temperatures, the City of Trinity water system has been overloaded. Contributing factors to the system overload has been a large number of residents and businesses with broken water lines and residents who left their water running throughout the night to prevent their lines from freezing. There were major water leaks in the Deer Run and Trinity Cove Subdivisions which put an extreme amount of stress on the system.
It is not expected to get below freezing tonight. We ask that you please use as little water as possible, specifically do not leave your faucets dripping. This will help our system replenish itself to full capacity as soon as possible.
