On January 24, at approximately 5:26 AM, Officer Justin Qualle was on patrol conducting a check of the parking lot at the south end of Parallel Ave.

Officer Qualle located a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. A female occupant was inside the vehicle. A registration and wants check on the vehicle indicated the vehicle was recently stolen out of Turlock.

The female, identified as Celeste Melford (28 yrs of Mountain House), was taken into custody without incident, and was booked into the San Joaquin Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was towed from the location at the owner’s request.
