Deputies arrest Lucrettia Collins for a felony DUI traffic collision

INCIDENT: Felony DUI Traffic Collision
LOCATION: 7000 Block of Olive Street, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Lucrettia Collins, 25-year-old resident of Highland
SUMMARY: While Deputy Kassis was handling an unrelated call in the 7000 block of Olive Street he witnessed a collision between two vehicles. A 2003 Nissan, being driven south on Olive Street by Lucrettia Collins, collided into a vehicle that was parked along the west side of the street. The Nissan also had three small children, ages 1, 2 and 7, and another female adult. One of the juveniles received visible minor injuries and all three were transported to the hospital. Both vehicles sustained major damage.
Collins was arrested for suspicion of felony driving under the influence and was booked at the Central Detention Center for CVC23153, felony DUI, her bail is set at $100,000. Deputies will also be seeking charges of child endangerment.
