Breaking/Entering Vehicle Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Piedmont man has been arrested in connection to the unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Pablo Mejia, Jr., 18, of Piedmont, is charged with two felony counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle,” investigator Shane Hartley said.
Mejia allegedly broke into two vehicles on Sand Valley Road stealing a spare tire, jack and air compressor. Deputy Chris Smith responded to the scene and was able to locate Mejia at a residence on Oak Road. Mejia stated he broke into the vehicles in an attempt to repair a flat tire on his vehicle.
Mejia is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
