FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On January 30, 2018 at approximately 0458hrs the City of Angels Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 300 block of S. Main St. Heavy smoke had filled the double wide mobile home when the first engine arrived at the scene. Firefighters from the Altaville Melones FPD, Murphys FPD, and San Andreas FPD assisted the City in extinguishing the fire and containing it to two rooms of the dwelling. No civilians or firefighters were injured during the incident. Some of the occupants were home at the time of the fire, but all had evacuated safely upon arrival of the fire department. Fire cause is still under investigation; however the fire is believed to be accidental.
