On January 30, 2018 at approximately 12:15 A.M., officers from the Angels Camp Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Main Street for a report of a stabbing. The female suspect left the area before the victim called for assistance.
Officers arrived and contacted the victim, who declined medical attention. The victim reported that 19 year-old Angels Camp resident Brooke Hines became angry at him when he would not give her a cigarette. The victim walked away from Hines when she began yelling that she was going to stab him with a box cutter. As the victim was walking away, Hines ran toward him with the box cutter and the victim was cut on the hand when he tried to protect himself from Hines.
